Scott has lived in Bellingham since 1997 and has been engaged in the local community and issues for more then 15 years. I have lived throughout Bellingham's many neighborhoods, including Cornwall Park, York, Downtown, Birchwood, Roosevelt and Happy Valley.

With a strong background as an Educator, Organizer, and Communicator, Scott is committed to making a difference in not just his neighborhood, but Bellingham. His dedication to improving housing, downtown safety, and advocating for parking reform has a strong history of success. Pelton's vision for Bellingham's growth includes deregulating housing supply and expanding access to affordable housing, prioritizing neighborhoods, investing in downtown culture to support local businesses, and creating a vision that will capture jobs at the Port of Bellingham.
